It’s hard not to notice how many songs with offensive or inappropriate lyrics are wrapped up in super catchy tunes. Before we know it, those same lines are being repeated by our little ones, who have no idea what they’re actually saying.

It happens so often that it starts to feel normal — but it really shouldn’t be.

Take that now-infamous phrase “6-7,” for example. Parents everywhere have been googling what it means (and secretly wishing our kids would just stop counting past five 😅). It’s wild how fast something can spread online, even when we don’t fully understand it ourselves!

And it’s not just that one — so many songs and phrases go viral simply because they sound cool or everyone’s doing it.
